Ok guys, about art for your articles:
Alma brought up a good point about the art; she said that she needs to know what you need so she can do it before the deadline.
I know this is Lida's...er...territory...but I'm thinking that the art ideas should all be in by...Tuesday, October 23 (post here or tell me or lida) Hopefully, Mr. Janus will let us have about 10-15 minutes on Wednesday the 24th to talk over your ideas and work out any problems you're having...
Of course, you can always add more art later, but make sure that your ideas are pretty solid by that date. That includes drawings, photgraphs, cartoons...all types of non-text images.
Anyone else interested in doing art? And if you want to do your own artwork, thats no problem, just make sure that it looks good, or OK it with Lida.
Remember: EVERYONE NEEDS AT LEAST ONE IMAGE FOR THEIR ARTICLE!!! and the longer the article, the more pictures...think about all of those tabloids -- they're mostly pictures!
Start telling us what you need! (Post here) And as you guys tell me and lida we can add a list to the post to make it easier to see for other people.
Fo' serious, guys. Tell us what you need, and tell other people that they need to get blogs because I think only like 9 people or something have blogs from our class.

I hope all of you realize that these art requests are due by the end of tomorrow, say by...around 10:00.
This is serious, and if these assignments aren't turned in on time, I will figure out some means of punishment...like making people who turn in their work late edit articles, or something
um, i need something of Escorial and another of Versailles. Actually, I probably only need something for one or the other, and I have pictures I tool this summer of Versailles. Lida? I can make a CD or something of the photos. Plus I'd really live to take pictures for the magazine. It'd be awesome! Er....
Let me know what you want me to do. I don't really want a drwaing for Escorial... Unless... Could I get like pictures of plants that were in the lanscaping? Or did someone else go there and take pictures? Or.. I don't know. What about a floorplan for it? otherwise, I think I'm set for Versailles.
I could use small drawings (like, mug shot type things?) of Henry VIII and his six wifes. Pictures would work, too, but it seems like there will already be a lot of photography in the magazine.
I need a horse...preferably black with armor and a knight on top + an early car, like a model T but fancier
alright so I'm going to need a picture of 1. a cello, preferably with a Baroque bow, which i will show the artist what it looks like in class....also I would like a picture of J.S. Bach at working on some sort of composition.

hey! i already talked to you about what i needed, but yeah i need, The Last Supper before and after it was covered or w/e, the Portrait of a Virgin, the one with the prostitute, and I need some of leonardo da vinci's sketches. i can get them all online, but i was thinking, if someone who can draw could recreate da vinci's sketches that would be cool. Thanks!
Hi, sorry I'm a little late.
I could use several images, but the only thing I really need is a portrait of Machiavelli. Portraits of rulers of the era, like Charles V and Francis I of France and Henrys VII-VIII, would be nice, but not necessary.
I need live action photos of Lucrezia (Clare, definitely) in Renaissance era dress, caught in the act of holding a baby doll (or a real baby, if you can find one). Scandalous!
Um, I wanted to do art for my own article, and I'm thing of a few different things. If I can't think of something better, I'll look for information on torture in the Spanish Inquisition and draw something from that...
i need a drawing of someone fencing in rennisaince times
i wanted to do my own art too... i was thinking i would draw a picture of a "holy anorexic" from the middle ages and a typical renaissance aristocratic woman. i'm not sure if i'm actually going to be cooking the food (probably not) but if i am, i would use photos for that. otherwise i will probably be drawing food.

heyy ok so me and zoe are doing our own art but we're just guna have pics of renaissance dresses, shoes, corsets, pants, hats, purses etc...basicly whatever we find as the fashion of that time...
scratch the horse and car, make it a ship
well...since zoe is no longer in our class i guess i'm the only one who needs pics of clothes and whatnot...
yea i dont need the fencing anymore, i need an old version of tennis and horse racing
